Management International (MI) can offer a range of services in the field of education and training. These are competitively priced and individually negotiated to suit the needs of the customer.
Corporate Training
MI provides tailored training and consultancy to the international business community through its “Services to Business” programme. We publish an extensive menu of courses which can be provided to corporate clients on demand. Extracts from this menu are reproduced in Table 1.
We currently work with companies and organisations world-wide to provide these services. They can be provided either locally for high-cost-effective solutions, or in the UK to take advantage of our unique location and facilities, and to gain experience of the English language and culture.
Curriculum Development
The UK is the major provider of post-school education and training and MI has excellent links with local colleges and universities to draw on their expertise in specialist vocational subjects. We also have specialist in general curriculum development and management who can advise on the implentation of new programmes and qualifications. The curriculum areas supported reflect the needs of a diverse range of commerce and industry as well as those of young people continuing to higher education.

Institutional Development
MI has worked with several educational institutions world-wide to provide training and consultancy services which transfer the benefits of educational developments in the UK into their institutions. Client organisations include government and private sector institutions in five continents. The services include:

Course programmes based on ‘state of the art’ training methods developed in the UK are adapted to the local requirements of an institution. Where appropriate, new programmes are developed. |

Resource Development |
A detailed analysis of the physical and human resources needed to support each programme is used to specify the resource requirement. Advice and guidance in creating and implementing the physical resources are also available. |

Staff Development |
Existing and new staff of the institution are trained by experienced staff trained to deliver the new programmes. This process extends to continuing support and guidance during programme delivery. Training programmes include pedagogical and subject specific updating, resource specification and materials development. Often this involves the staff studying and achieving UK training qualifications. |

Franchise Opportunities |
Many institutional development programmes are built around the franchise of courses and qualifications. These may either be standard UK qualifications or programmes accredited by The College. The main feature of this service is that The College provides ongoing quality assurance and accreditation of students’ work. Students following courses under franchise are automatically enrolled as students of The College. |
Project management
MI provides project management for corporate training and consultancy services. This ranges from initial consultancy and project specification for the client and the teaching centres, through to logistical control and quality management throughout the life of the project.
