Management International has been involved in European Union Training programmes for many years. MI has vast experience in various programmes, the main ones being Leonardo da Vinci, Lingua, Phare and Comenius. Management International’s popularity with European partners can be measured by the fact that we currently provide courses and placements for over 20 groups a year. These are tailor made for the client and are offered as a complete package with accommodation, local travel and transfer. Placements can be for any length of time and anywhere in the UK or Ireland. Funding is available in all countries of the EU and EEA areas and many former Eastern European countries. Please ask the EU office in your own country which programmes carry funding and the percentage of fees you are eligible for. To give you an idea here is a brief resume of some of the courses we could offer you under different strands of funding. Please refer to the EU website to see which category your project comes under. Training in English for Specific Purposes Leonardo da Vinci MI has been involved in the Leonardo da Vinci programme for the last six years. Leonardo da Vinci is specifically designed for students or trainees who wish to be involved in Mobility, Transnational qualifications, Training and Documentation programmes. MI are experts at Work Experience Placements, Training programmes and Documentation, and therefore are ideal partners for funded projects. Of the 20 or so groups we get each year, the majority are here for a short course followed by a period of placement in a company compatible with the CV, career and aspirations of the student. Phare Project This is another EU funded programme which MI has become involved with in recent years. The programmes involve partnerships between companies, institutions and agencies from EU, EEA and Non-EU countries where the non EU partner applies for the funds to be used for their own project. If you would like further information on this type of funding please contact the EU commission in Brussels or your local EU office in your country. Comenius COMENIUS focuses on the education primarily supporting school partnerships, projects for the training of school education staff, and school education networks. Additionally it also promotes language learning, mobility, learning in a multi-cultural framework and support for disadvantaged groups. There are many other types of funded programmes available through the multitude strands of EU training and MI hopes to be involved in many other projects from different strands in the future. |
